Advancing Patented UV-C Technology Toward Commercialization

Nittany Solutions Group, LLC is a technology and intellectual-property developer focused on advancing Infinite Shield, a patented UV-C surface-disinfection platform designed for use in occupied environments. Its compact, modular architecture integrates optical sensing, UV-C emission, and localized electronic control to deliver rapid, targeted treatment while limiting activation to the covered surface area.

Through engineering development, patent protection, and independent laboratory testing of the initial footwear-focused interface, NSG has established a strong foundation for application-specific prototype development, OEM integration, and future commercialization.

FROM A PRACTICAL PROBLEM TO A BROADER PLATFORM

Infinite Shield originated with a focused practical objective: reduce the transfer of microorganisms carried on footwear into a residential environment. The original concept addressed shoe soles at the point of entry, before contamination could be redistributed throughout an occupied space.

As the engineering advanced, the commercial opportunity expanded beyond the original footwear-focused concept. The independently controlled cell-level architecture could be adapted for healthcare, food processing, transportation, commercial facilities, athletics, and other environments where contaminated surfaces move through defined pathways.

FROM CONCEPT TO VALIDATED TECHNOLOGY

Development of the independently controlled treatment cell transformed Infinite Shield from a footwear-specific concept into a patented Digital Shielding architecture. Each cell integrates UV-C emission, optical sensing, and localized electronic control, allowing the system to detect the area covered by a target surface and activate only the corresponding emitters.

Independent testing by EMSL Analytical of the initial footwear-focused interface evaluated eight challenge organisms relevant to healthcare-associated infections and food safety. The study demonstrated pathogen reductions of up to 99.9997% at a two-second exposure time, establishing an independent performance foundation for continued prototype development and application-specific engineering.

OUR ROLE

NSG has focused on developing and protecting the core Infinite Shield architecture, establishing its technical foundation, and demonstrating the performance of the initial footwear-focused interface through independent laboratory testing. This work has produced patented technology, a modular board-level architecture, and a strong foundation for the next stage of development.

NSG is not presenting Infinite Shield as a finished commercial product for every market. Advancing the platform will require partners with the engineering, regulatory, manufacturing, market-access, and financial capabilities to convert the patented architecture into application-specific products.

ADVANCING THE PLATFORM

NSG is seeking strategic partners capable of advancing one or more of the following commercialization pathways:

The objective is to align Infinite Shield with organizations capable of advancing the technology responsibly through application-specific development, safety and regulatory review, manufacturing, market entry, and commercial scale.
